FILMMAKER RESOURCES

There are so many factors that go into capturing and editing a wedding film - from equipment, camera settings, lighting, composition, song choices, editing, color grading - it can be overwhelming and I for one had no idea where to start when I decided to pursue this full-time. But, I simply started, and that’s biggest step you can take. Whether you’re just dipping your toes or looking to take your current films to the next level, let me be your guide in that process. I’m a big believer in having mentors and I for one have had multiple throughout my own journey, the first one being Kaylor Shaye of Kaye Shaye Films. Each one of my mentors was critical to my journey and I could not have gotten to the point where I am today without them. I have filmed as a solo shooter for the majority of my career but my mentees have also become second shooters when I’ve needed them - community is a beautiful thing guys! If you’re ready to take the next step, what are you waiting for?

Just start!
